Requesting authority for the following for “Pre-Paid (Post-Tax) Voluntary Legal Services”-Hidalgo County:
1. Advertise and approval of procurement packet (draft specifications/requirements, legal notice, etc.) for: Pre-Paid (Post-Tax) Voluntary Legal Services”-Hidalgo County (RFB #2014-054) with the following conditions;
A. Employees would have opportunity to keep current awarded vendor but not through a payroll deduction option;
B. New vendor, if one awarded, would offer the product on a "post-tax payroll deduction option";
2. Exercise the County's option for the sixty (60) day grace period extension for contract #E-13-205-06-11 for: “Pre-Paid (Post-Tax) Voluntary Legal Services”-Hidalgo County while procurement process is completed and awarded under the same rate, term and conditions.
