Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Edcouch is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Saenz Brothers Construction, LLC for the Water Treatment Plant “SCADA System” in the amount of $525,425.00 utilizing UCP - City of Edcouch Water/Sewer improvement funds FYs’ 24 & 25 (2011 & 2012) and the city’s general funds.

 The Urban County Program requested and received bids for the Water Treatment Plant “SCADA System” project. Fulcrum Consulting Services prepared the specification packages. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on April 30, 2014. After review the project engineer recommended Saenz Brothers Construction, LLC as the lowest of two (2) qualified bidders. Should this project require additional funds, the City of Edcouch has committed to pay for such expenses.
