The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of San Juan, is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Texas Cordia Construction, LLC. in the amount of $415,987.00. Year 26 (2013) UCP funds and City of San Juan General Funds will also be utilized for this contract.
BACKGROUND
The bid opening was held on August 13, 2014 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Texas Cordia Construction, LLC. The project involves the street improvements to Sioux Road Bridge in San Juan, Texas. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer, city’s recommendation letter and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineer firm is Halff Associates, Inc.
