Approval to officially request from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Office of Colonia Initiatives (OCI) -Self Help Center Program Contract No. 723013.  Contract Period Extension

BACKGROUND

UCP is requesting approval of a Contract Period Extension to TDHCA-OCI. The contract extension will be for six (6) months (181 days). The new contract date will be July 1, 2003 through February 28, 2007. This extension is being requested due to extenuating circumstances such as inclement weather and high personnel turnover at Proyecto Azteca (SHC); resignation of executive director, assistant director, finance director, and other self-help center staff. These resignations occurred towards the end of the contract period. See attached letter from Proyecto Azteca.
