BACKGROUND
The intended use of funding provided by this grant is to improve indigent defense systems. Attorneys fees, investigator expenses, expert witnesses, and other direct litigation costs that a county spends on behalf of a criminal defendant or juvenile respondent in a criminal matter that has been determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be indigent are allowable expenses of this grant. Grant Period is October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015
