BACKGROUND
The Commisisoner's Court received and approved the 2006 GDEM Grant Adjustment Notice in the amount of $4,053.00 on May 15, 2007 (refer to AI 3776, 6A). The GDEM has adjusted that amount by increasing the grant by $3,965.00 making the grand total of the 2006 grant $8,018.00. The grant period is from July 1, 2006 through Februrary 28, 2008 (Homeland Security Grant).
The grant appropriation of $4,053.00 was approved by Commissioners Court on 5-22-07 (refer to AI 3918, 10B). On this agenda item we are appropriating the difference of $3,965.00 for the grand total award amount of $8,018.00.
