Requesting approval of Urban County Program Interlocal Agreement between Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 & City of Granjeno for the use of Urban County Program funds from Years 25 & 26 (2012 & 2013) and authorization for Hidalgo County Judge Ramon Garcia to sign agreement.

In order to ensure the proper expenditures of CDBG funds, as outlined in 24 CFR Part 570 and other related federal rules and regulations as they apply, an Interlocal Agreement must be formally executed by Hidalgo County Precinct No.1 and City of Granjeno. Hidalgo County Precinct No.1 will borrow a total of $500,000.00 from the City of Granjeno UCP funds from FY’s 25 & 26 (2012 & 2013) and has agreed to repay in two installments of $250,000.00 each from it’s future UCP funding from FY’s 29 & 30 (2016 & 2017).
