Requesting approval of the revised Urban County Program Guidelines for the Hidalgo Colonia Self-Help Center (SHC) Program and authorization to revise as necessary.

 The Urban County Program is requesting approval of the revised SHC Guidelines for the SHC Program in order to reflect the amended contract (No. 712013) between the County and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The amendment included a budgetary line item increase to the Small Repair Housing Activities from $3,600 per unit to $9,000, not to exceed $10,000 as per SHC Guidelines. The income limits provided in the SHC Guidelines were also revised to reflect the current limits.

The guidelines include the program objectives, housing activities, property eligibility, condition requirements, improvements, thresholds, selection of applicants, and other requirements provided for the implementation and administration of a successful Colonia SHC Program.
