The Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award Phase II of the Environmental Site Assessment to L & G Engineering to continue with a Limited Phase II Environmental Assessment of the Peñitas Drain Project located in Precinct 3. Phase I of the Environmental Assessment was approved by Commissioners’ Court on August 18, 2015. The UCP will be utilizing the Texas General Land Office (GLO) funds Contract No. 12-406-000-6453/DRS210068.
BACKGROUND
L&G Engineering has submitted a best and final offer to complete the Environmental Site Assessment
of the Peñitas Drain located in Pct. 3. Scope of work includes but is not limited to pipelines: four (4) soil borings within the project limits, Gas Well Pad: L&G identified two (2) former gas well pads within the project limits through a field investigation; therefore, it is proposed that one (1) soil boring be taken at each pad. See attached letter of best and final offer, engineering cost proposal and fee breakdown, scope of services, certificate of liability insurance and copy of contract.
