Approval to award a Construction Contract to CRC Design Consultants for the expansion of the Hidalgo Public Library using the City of Hidalgo Urban County Program Public Facilities funding from Year 14 (2001), Year 17 (2004), Year 18 (2005) and the City of Hidalgo General Fund totaling to $508,000.00.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Hidalgo requests approval of a Construction Contract with CRC Design Consultants for the expansion of the Hidalgo Public Library. CRC Design Consultants submitted the lowest bid in the amount of $508,000.00. The City of Hidalgo will also be contributing from their general fund. See attached letter of recommendation from the project architect, city contribution letter, bid tabulation and contractor’s bid. (See attachments)

Year 17 (2004) $137,786.00
Year 18 (2005) $161,682.82
