Requesting approval to execute the 2016-2020 Colonia Self Help Center (SHC) Program agreement between the County of Hidalgo Urban County Program and Proyeto Azteca
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program (UCP) requested proposals to enter into a contract with a non-profit organization that has demonstrated ability to carry out colonia self help activities. A committee met and evaluated the proposals received. The criteria used in the evaluation process included past experience, capacity to perform project activities and leveraging of additional funding. The UCP requests approval enter into an agreement with Proyecto Azteca for the 2016-2020 Hidalgo County Colonia Self Help Center project in the amount $570,000.
