Subject to HB 1295 Compliance, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with RDH Site and Concrete, LLC in the amount of $102,732.00 (base bid & alternate). UCP Fiscal Year 29 (2016) Elsa – Street Improvement funds will be utilized.

BACKGROUND

The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of Elsa – Street Improvements E. Ciro Caceres St. SWG Engineering, LLC prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on April 5, 2017. After review the project engineer recommended RDH Site and Concrete, LLC as the lowest of thirteen (13) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from Randy Winston, P.E., bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance and HB 1295 form).


Funds Available: $ 198,463.32 FY 29 (2016) Street Improvements
