The Adult Probation Department at the Judge Homer Salinas Rehabilitation Grounds located at 1000 M Rd., Edinburg Texas, is requesting the following:
A. Approval to declare as "Salvage Property" (personal property, other than items routinely discarded as waste, that because of use, time, accident, or any other cause is so worn, damaged or obsolete that it has no value for the purpose for which it was originally intended) for the purpose of disposition through sale as scrap metal through County's contracted vendor:
two(2) dryers, one (1) washer, seventeen(17) lawn mowers, one (1) 36" direct drive fan, two (2) 42" circulator fan, one (1) hc1600 hedge clipper, one (1) floor buffer and Miscellaneous metal items
B. Approval to declare as "Salvage Property" (personal property, other than items routinely discarded as waste, that because of use, time, accident or any other cause is so worn, damaged or obsolete that it has no value for the purpose for which it was originally intended) for the purpose of disposition to the landfill with the assistance of Precinct 4 and the Purchasing Department - Fixed Asset Division:
sixty five (65) mattresses which are worn and weathered, and nineteen (19) tires that are unusable
