BUDGETARY IMPACT:
2017 appropriation of funds in the amount of $539,500.00 to fund 381 Small Town Economic Development Grant Program, the remaining balance due to VIDA according to the contract approved by Commissioners Court on December 13, 2016 as well as funding some operating expenditures of Economic Development Office.Funds available as follows:
$181,740.85 from unassigned fund balance (Escheats) for fund 1100 pending to be certified by the County Auditor's Office from proceeds received in FY2017 under 7-1100-363-00-000-000-0-000.
$357,759.15 to be taken from General Fund-Restricted F/B-Economic Development after Commissioners Court approves the appropriation.
