Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, when and if Applicable, The Hidalgo County Urban County Program (UCP) is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Saenz Brothers Construction, LLC in the amount of $516,450.00 (Five hundred sixteen thousand four hundred fifty dollars and no cents) for the Hidalgo County CEDAP Contract No. 7217005 Project No. 6545-58-6591-5000-ET for First-Time Sewer Connection.

Pending Legal approval and receipt of Performance Bond.

Bids were requested and received for the Hidalgo County CEDAP Contract No. 7217005 for First-Time Sewer Connection of approximately 341 residential dwellings. Bids were opened by and at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on March 21, 2018 at 9:30 am.  After review, the Project Engineer, Mr. Ivan Garcia, PE (Rio Delta Engineering) recommended to award the Base Bid to Saenz Brothers Construction, LLC who is the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $516,450.00.  (See attached recommendation letter from Ivan Garcia, PE of Rio Delta Engineering and copy of the bid tabulations).
