City of Hidalgo is requesting authority to purchase a Brush Truck through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with TASB (BuyBoard) awarded vendor Siddons Fire Apparatus in the amount not to exceed $69,000.00, which includes delivery and co-op fees.
BACKGROUND
Siddons Fire Apparatus is a vendor through BuyBoard Contract #232-05. Purchase of the brush truck will utilize a grant from Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program in the amount of $48,600.00 and Urban County Program Year 20 (2007) Fire Station/Equipment funds in the amount of $20,400.00.
