Presentation for consideration, discussion and action to award a construction contract to Tri-Hunt Construction, the lowest qualified bid received, meeting all specifications and requirements for the City of Weslaco Sewer Improvements project utilizing Year 19 (2006), Hidalgo County Urban County Program funds.
BACKGROUND
The City of Weslaco requests approval to award a construction contract in the amount of $78,266.00 to Tri-Hunt Construction for a Sewer line installation project along the alley between Calle Republica and Calle de Libertad from Los Torritos Street to First Street (See attached bid tabulation sheet).

Funds Available: $ 227,650.63 (2006 Water Sewer Improvements)
