Discussion and approval of Attachment D RTS Workstation Lease Agreement for the use of State of Texas Automation Equipment by and between the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and the County of Hidalgo. This attachment reflects four (4) additional leased registration and titling systems.
BACKGROUND
Hidalgo County has an agreement in place to lease additional equipment for providing services related to the operation of the automated registration and titling system. This is in accordance with Texas Transportation Code Sec 520.0093. Hidalgo County is currently allocated 86 workstations under the Fair Share program. We currently lease thirty one (31) RTS systems. This brings the new current RTS Systems leased total to (35) thirty five. (15 leased to Hidalgo County, 20 Sub-leased to BridgePoint Insurance Agency & Permit Center LLC)
