"Subject to compliance with HB 1295, when and if applicable." The Urban County Program is requesting the award of bids and the approval of contracts with A-One Insulation & RG Enterprises, LLC dba G & G Contractors for the demolition and reconstruction of the following:

(3) Units in the Countywide area, (1) unit in the City of Donna, (1) unit in the City of San Juan, (1) unit in the City of Alamo, (1) unit in the City of Alton and (1) unit in the City of Weslaco in the total contract amount of $969,250.00 to A-One Insulation.
(7) Units in the Countywide area, (1) unit in the City of Elsa, (1) unit in the City of Alton, (1) unit in the City of Palmview and (1) unit in the City of Mercedes in the total contract amount of $1,314,800.00 to RG Enterprises, LLC dba G & G Contractors.

BACKGROUND

The applicants were approved to receive assistance under the Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program by the County Commissioners’ Court on May 4, 2021, December 14, 2021, January 11, 2022 and February22, 2022. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on Wednesday, March 29, 2023
