The Urban County Program for Precinct #3 is requesting authority to award and enter into a construction contract with Valley Paving, Inc. (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for Flood Drain Improvements for Monica Acres (RFB: 5007-93-0309-5000-9300-KS) in the amount of $119,060.00 utilizing Precinct 3 Flood Drain Improvement UCP Year 20 (2007) funds.

BACKGROUND

Precinct #3 requests approval to award a contract in the amount of $119,060.00 with Valley Paving, Inc.  The project consists of proposed Flood Drain Improvements for Monica Acres and will utilize Precinct 3 Urban County Program Year 20 (2007) funds.  (See attached bid tabulation sheet).
