1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for professional engineering services in connection with Hidalgo County Urban County Program from Program Year 20 (2007) for a Street Improvements Project in Precinct No. 1.

2. Presentation of the scoring grid (of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County's approved "pool" as graded and evaluated by Pct. 1) for the purposes of ranking by CC in connection with an Urban County Program Year 20 (2007) Street Improvements project in Pct. 1.

3. Authority to negotiate a professional engineering services contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of _____________________ for the provision of engineering services for a Pct. 1 Street Improvements project.

Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 has graded three engineering firms from the County's approved "pool". Javier Hinojosa Engineering, Leo Rodriguez Engineering and Quintanilla, Headley & Associates were rated to engineer the 2007 Street Improvements project that include "E" Street in Colonia Olivarez and Ricardo-Andrea Street.   See attached scoring grid for your review.
