Presentation of a recommendation by Project architecht Jorge A. Garcia, AGADC with concurrence by Pct. 3 for discussion, consideration, acceptance and approval of a proposal solicited from Herrera and Hunt, Inc. (job order contractor) for project #08-119, aka, renovations to Anzalduas Park Fishing and Boating Pier -Phase I, exploratory assessment for the provision of labor and materials with related/necessary accessories including but not limited to removing joists and supporting beams in the amount of $5,926.03 so as to address the potential existing hazard to life and property.

As per AGADC the contractor has removed approximately 90% of the decking boards; however the removal of decking has caused joists to float in the river causing a hazard to boaters and therefore it has become necessary  to remove the joists and the support beams in preparation for the renovation.
