Requesting approval of a Resolution regarding Performance Amendment #1 to the Office of Rural Community Affairs (ORCA) 2007 Colonia EDAP Contract Grant #727145.
BACKGROUND
The Performance Amendment #1 reflects the final total improvements to be completed with the ORCA 2007 EDAP funds for the colonias located in City of Mercedes ETJ in Pct. #1.
Colonia Southern Valley had two (2) homes and the owners installed their own sewer improvement before we were awarded our grant. Therefore, the amendment will reduce the homes by two (2) and the number of colonias from four (4) to three (3).
Colonia Eastland Park sewer improvements will be reduced by four (4) homes due to the sewer force main not installed at Mile 1 1/2 East. City of Mercedes TWDB EDAP Project did not include the improvements for Mile 1/2 East.
The beneficiaries for ORCA Grant #727145 will be reduced by 21 people.
