RECOMMENDATION
Approve expenditure of funds up to $800,000 for the Sarival landscape median installation. (Hugh Bigalk, City Traffic Engineer)
FISCAL IMPACT
The construction costs of the landscape median installation are included in the FY2023 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) under Project 42011 which has a total project budget of $4,575,700.
BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS
The project included the construction of traffic signal improvements at Sarival Avenue & Harrison Street, which was activated in March of 2023.
STAFF ANALYSIS
The City of Goodyear will own the landscape median, and maintain the landscape once the two-year landscape warranty and maintenance period is over in FY2025.
