| SUBJECT: | APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE TWO TEMPORARY DRAINAGE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS WITHIN EL CIDRO |

SUMMARY:
Approve and authorize two Temporary Drainage Easement Agreements with LS-Goodyear LLC, for drainage facilities along South Citrus Road and West El Cidro Drive needed for the construction of West Citrus Road and El Cidro Drive and for the development of El Cidro Phase 1 Parcel 1E.
Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the execution of the Temporary Drainage Easement Agreement (Citrus Road) and the Temporary Drainage Easement Agreement (El Cidro Drive). (Linda Beals, Real Estate Coordinator)
FISCAL IMPACT:
There will be no fiscal impact to the city in the fiscal year 2021 or future years with the acceptance of these easements.
BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS:
On October 26, 2020, council approved the following:
- El Cidro Final Plat Phase 1 Parcel 1B
- El Cidro Final Plat Phase 1 Parcel 1E
- El Cidro Final Plat Parcel 1D Phase 2
- Map of Dedication El Cidro Infrastructure Phase 1-B, South Citrus Road and West El Cidro Drive (the Phase 1-B MOD)
STAFF ANALYSIS
The construction of road improvements within the sections of South Citrus Road and West El Cidro Drive dedicated to the city in the Phase 1-B MOD are required for the development of the property included within the final plats approved on October 26, 2020. The construction of drainage facilities that will handle storm water flows generated on the property included within the approved final plats and from the adjacent roadways is also required.
The temporary drainage easements, established by the two Temporary Drainage Easement Agreements attached hereto, are located outside the boundaries of the final plats approved on October 26, 2020. The off-site drainage easements provide for the construction and maintenance of drainage facilities needed to handle storm water flows from the sections of South Citrus Road and West El Cidro Drive being constructed. In addition, the off-site drainage easement for West El Cidro Drive provides for the construction and maintenance of drainage facilities needed to handle storm water flows from the property within the El Cidro Final Plat Phase 1 Parcel 1E.
