Recognize the City Council subcommittee appointments for the remainder of calendar year 2022. (Rosalva Zimmerman, Assistant to the Mayor)

There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.

Previously, the Mayor has modified the composition of the City Council subcommittees with appointments aligned with the fiscal year.  With the change of our election cycle to fall of even years, new Councilmembers will be inducted in January of the year after an election.   To better align with the induction, current City Council subcommittee appointments will be extended to December 31, 2022, with new appointments being made at the January meeting.  Additionally, for those positions previously held by Mayor Pizzillo, the Mayor has appointed Councilmember Patrick Bray to complete the appointments for the 2022 calendar year.

The following City Council subcommittee appointments are made and extended to continued through December 2022.

Community Funding Committee:

Boards and Commissions Selection Committee:

Goodyear Public Safety Personnel Retirement Boards:

In accordance with A.R.S. §38-847, Mayor Pizzillo has designated Councilmember Kaino as chairperson of the Goodyear Public Safety Personnel Retirement Local Boards.
