There will be no fiscal impact to the city in fiscal year 2022 or future years related to the issuance of this easement.
 

The city is the owner of Water Site 12, which is located within the El Cidro development at the southwest corner of Lower Buckeye Road and 173rd Avenue.  The developer for the El Cidro project constructed the storm water and tail water improvements required in this area per the applicable development regulations.  A portion of these improvements, including a short length of pipe and a manhole cover, were placed on the southeasterly edge of the city’s Water Site 12 property. 
 

The storm water and tail water improvements were constructed consistent with the plans submitted and approved by city staff.   The proposed Permanent Drainage Easement Agreement is required for the continued operation and maintenance of this portion of the storm water and tail water improvements by the El Cidro Homeowners Association, an Arizona non-profit corporation.
