RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Karen Townsend in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Karen Townsend, a La Habra resident, filed a claim on January 31, 2023, in the amount of $5,322 for property damage. The claim alleges that on December 8, 2022, Ms. Townsend’s vehicle was flooded by heavy rain while her vehicle was parked on Olive Avenue.
FISCAL IMPACT/SOURCE OF FUNDING:
None.
