RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Patricia Villanueva be denied in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Patricia Villanueva, a City of La Mirada resident, filed a property damage claim on June 3, 2024, in the amount of $458.16 for reimbursement to repair a tire. The claim alleges that on May 21, 2024, the claimant was traveling westbound on Imperial Highway in the middle lane, at the intersection of South Cajon Drive and Briercliff Drive, when she drove over a pothole causing damage to the right rear tire of the vehicle.
