RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Mark Davis in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Mark Davis, a City of Green Valley Lake resident, filed a wrongful death claim against the City on March 13, 2023, for the amount of $32,390. The claim alleges that Mr. Davis and his family were not protected by the Police Department, resulting in the death of his mother which he claims was poisoned by individuals using pesticides at his La Habra property on 1830 Swansea Circle.
