RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Joseph Delaney in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Joseph Delaney, a City of Fullerton resident, filed a property damage claim on March 11, 2024, in the amount of $5,000 for reimbursement to replace one tire and repair the bumper, headlights and radiator on his vehicle. The claim alleges that on March 9, 2024, Mr. Delaney was traveling on Imperial Highway, between Euclid Street and Idaho Street, when he drove over a pothole causing damage to the front end of his vehicle.
