APPROVE DENIAL OF LIABILITY CLAIM OF MR. PEDRO PONCE

RECOMMENDATION:


That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Pedro Ponce in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

DISCUSSION:

On October 23, 2024, Mr. Pedro Ponce filed a property damage claim for an unspecified amount to repair damages to his mobile home located at 1001 West Lambert Road, U-28. The claim alleges that on October 14, 2024 through October 18, 2024, vibrations from heavy construction equipment utilized by a contractor hired by the City of La Habra to perform street improvements caused damage to his property. The claim has been tendered to Gentry Brothers Inc for processing.
