Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for continuation of insurance coverage through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) and authorizing that the City does not waive statutory limits on Municipal Tort Liability.

As part of the liability insurance renewal, including automobile, property, fire & casualty, general liability, open meeting law, police professional liability, employee bonds and workers' compensation coverage for the 2024-2025 policy year, the city must elect its position on the municipal tort liability. Consequently, similar to previous years, staff does recommend that the City of Mankato does not waive the statutory limits on municipal tort liability.
