Motion approving a Temporary On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License to Mankato Lodge #12 A.F. & A.M., 309 South 2nd Street, on April 25, 2025.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Approve application (contingent upon completion of alcohol server training for all persons engage in selling or serving alcoholic beverages).
Summary:
An application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license has been submitted by Mankato Lodge #12 A.F. & A.M., 309 South 2nd Street, Mankato, on April 25, 2025, for their annual wine and beer tasting event. The wine and beer distributors will provide servers and Mankato Lodge #12 will also ensure that they have attended the alcohol server's training. Event proceeds are used for charitable purposes. See the attached letter submitted with the application.
Taxes are current for the premise and a certificate of liability insurance has been provided. A license fee of $155 and investigation fee of $37 will be set forth into the city's general fund.
