Summary:
An application has been submitted by Darla Guritz on behalf of Mankato Area Hockey Association (MAHA) for a new gambling site at Social House, 509 South Front Street, Mankato. MAHA paid gambling tax in the amount of $40,367.57 in 2024. Mankato Area Hockey expenditures for 2024 were $360,000; 100% of those funds were spent in the local trade area.
A background investigation of all persons and premises described in the application revealed nothing to preclude the issuance of the license.
