Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding approval of contract between the City of San Luis and a professional musical band, Los Amantes De Lola, at the 2017 4th of July festivities. (Lizandro Galaviz, Parks & Recreation Director)
SUMMARY:
Year after year the Parks & Recreation Department has strived in providing our community with great entertainment for our 4th of July festivities. This year, we would like to provide our community with a great variety of musical performances and this is why we would like to have Los Amantes De Lola perform at our event. They are a rock band coming from Mexico City that has been very successful for the last couple of years and we are positive this band will be a huge success for our our 4th of July event.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,000.00 FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF LOS AMANTES DE LOLA ON JULY 4TH AS PRESENTED.
