Vote to hold an Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3).
Discussion and possible action to hold an Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) on any and all matters regarding discussion or consultation for legal advice with the City Attorney or City's Attorneys about the possible display of the United States' national motto. SUMMARY:
At the Work Session on September 6, 2017, City Council directed staff to schedule an executive session for legal advice as to the legalities involved in displaying the United States' national motto "In God We Trust.".
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO HOLD AN EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3).
