ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 1121. A resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona approving the authorization to enter in agreement with the City of Yuma through the Yuma Police Department to share access to criminal justice databases. (Victor Figueroa, Acting Chief of Police and Monica Ruiz, Communications Supervisor)
SUMMARY:
The San Luis Police Department is requesting approval to enter into agreement with the City of Yuma to provide shared access of the Arizona Criminal Justice Information Services (ACJIS) Interface. The San Luis Police Department will be utilizing the message switch from Yuma Police Department through Yuma Regional Communications System to keep performing San Luis Police functions while still complying with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security IT policies.
