ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2108. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, authorizing the submission of an application to the United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management for a Recreation and Public Purposes lease for 40 acres located on the southeast corner of Urtuzuastegui Street and 10th Avenue. SUMMARY:

This is a request for authorization to submit a Recreation and Public Purpose (R&PP) lease application for 40 acres located on the southeast corner of Urtuzuastegui Street and 10th Avenue, to provide a community park and any future related services and to authorize the City Manager or designee to sign the resulting documents. 

One of the application requirements is a certified copy of a resolution authorizing the filing of the application and further authorizing the signing officer to execute the application. The approval of Resolution No. 2108 will meet this requirement. 

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I MOVE TO APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 2108 AS PRESENTED BY STAFF.
