Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the presentation and adoption of the San Luis Focused Future II Economic Development Strategic Plan. (Jenny Torres, Community Development Director)
SUMMARY:
A collaboration between APS and the City of San Luis allowed for the development of an update on the Focused Future Economic Development Plan for the City of San Luis. The San Luis Economic Development Commission was assigned to complete the update on the existing Focused Future Plan developed in 2003. The update process included a citizen forum where the community identified strategies for economic development. This plan was coordinated with the Regional Border Business Case that identifies strategies for the region. These two plans will provide a roadmap for San Luis and the region on economic development.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO ADOPT THE 2015 FOCUSED FUTURE II ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SAN LUIS.
