ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2208.  A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, authorizing the submission of an application to the United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation to acquire federal right of way land and request authorization for construction of County 24th St. between 10th Avenue and Avenue F-1/2 Roadway Project.  (Eulogio Vera, Director of Public Works)

SUMMARY:

The City of San Luis is working on acquiring federal right of way land required for construction of County 24th Street between 10th Avenue and Avenue F-1/2 Roadway Project. BOR requires a formal authorization to submit an application for transportation and utility systems and facilities on federal lands. 

Staff is requesting approval of Resolution No. 2208 and provide the City Manager authority to sign any pertinent documents.

I MOVE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2208 AS PRESENTED.

This project will be funded utilizing grants from ARPA and YMPO. We did budget for the ARPA grant, hence costs associated with the submittal of this application will be funded in the appropiate grant account.
