ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 1147. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, relating to Yuma 50 Non-Profit; supporting the mission of the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma and Yuma Proving Grounds, supporting our enlisted and Civilian Contractors in their efforts to provide the best possible environment and conditions for military activities. SUMMARY:
Mr. Ken Rosevear, Chairman of the Board of the Yuma 50, provided a presentation to the Mayor and City Council on April 27, 2016 regarding the Yuma 50; at that time he requested a resolution of support from the City Council regarding the mechanism for Yuma's Military.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 1147.
