Discussion and possible action regarding renewal and ratification of interpreter's contract for fiscal year 2016 - 2017. (Kristin McManus, Municipal Magistrate)
SUMMARY:
The Court seeks the contract renewal and ratification of current court interpreter Ruth Guerra at a cost of $100 dollars per day, 5 days a week, or as needed. Funds will be paid out of special court revenue. No Cost will be incurred by the City. Since the fiscal year began July 1, 2016, ratification is requested for the compensation paid since July 1, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO RATIFY AND APPROVE THE RENEWAL OF THE COURT INTERPRETER'S CONTRACT.
