Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding authorization to award a construction contract to DPE Construction, Inc. for Merrill Avenue Improvements Project. (Jenny Torres, Community Development Director)
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends that the City of San Luis award DPE Construction, Inc. the construction contract for Merrill Avenue Improvements Project a Community Development Block Grant Contract #103-17 in the amount of $291,198.00. The contractor was selected competitively by sealed bids and was the lowest bidder determined to be qualified and capable of performing the contract. Project will be funded by a Community Development Block Grant from the Arizona Department of Housing State Special Projects.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO AWARD DPE CONSTRUCTION, INC. THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR MERRILL AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $291,198.00 AS PRESENTED.
