Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2016. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, adopting the City of San Luis Roadway Naming and Addressing Policy. (Jose A. Guzman, Acting Director of Planning & Zoning)
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this policy is to provide a standardized and expedient method of assigning roadway name designations and property addresses for all residential, commercial and industrial lots, parcels and/or tracts throughout the City of San Luis. This policy also provides the procedures, criteria and approval process for renaming of roadways within the city.
The main goal of this policy is to provide emergency service agencies with a logical and predictable method of addressing property, so that emergency victims can be located with greatest efficiency.
