ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Order No. 2020-12.  An order of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, amending order No. 2020-6 to allow out-of-county travel for essential city business as approved by the City Manager.  (Richard D. Jessup, Chief of Police) 

SUMMARY:

Governments throughout the state of Arizona have been resuming business and evaluating situations on a case by case basis. Order No. 2020-12 amends City Council Order No. 2020-6 and page 2, paragraph 6 of the March 13, 2020, Declaration of Emergency limiting out-of-county travel to court summons or travel for intergovernmental projects.

Order 2020-12 will allow for out of county essential city-business travel for all departments to resume as approved by the City Manager.

This item is for City Council to give direction to staff as to how it wishes to address this issue.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I MOVE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT ORDER NO. 2020-12.
