SUMMARY:
Previously, the purchase of an emergency vehicle (2021 Dodge Ram 4500 Ambulance) was approved for the Fire Department at the meeting held on September 9, 2020, for the amount of $211,280.00 from GL Account 340-341-90000. Due to a late modification, our vendor, RepublicEVS, informed us there was a slight increase in the final cost of our 2021 Dodge Ram 4500 ambulance. The cost of the emergency vehicle will increase by $701.00 from the original price previously approved.
Due to the council approving this item at a previous meeting by waiving the procurement code as a unique vehicle with specialized equipment and for it not to exceed the price of $211,280.00, staff would like to formally request the ratification of purchase order 2021-00000696, RepublicEVS in the amount of $701.00.
