Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the Magistrate Resignation and Agreement. (Ralph Velez, Interim City Manager)
SUMMARY:
The Magistrate submitted a resignation letter on December 12, 2022, to take effect on January 11, 2023. The Magistrate signed the attached separation agreement.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE SEPARATION AGREEMENT WITH THE MAGISTRATE AS PRESENTED.

Due to the vacancies in the City there is budget capacity to fund for this unbudgeted severance payment.
Per City of San Luis HR policy HR-4-05(F)1 unused sick leave will not be paid upon separation from the City, hence it is not included in the below calculation.
