ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2295. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, accepting a proposed distribution from the Greater Yuma Port Authority. (Jenny Torres, Acting City Manager)
SUMMARY:
At the October 4, 2023 meeting of the Greater Yuma Port Authority (GYPA) Board of Directors, the GYPA Board voted to have the appointed representatives of each member agency deliver a proposal from GYPA to distribute $155,000.00 to each member agency. The $155,000.00 represents the original deposit of $100,000.00 and $55,000.00 for the cash call for FY2023-2024. The City of San Luis Council is asked to vote on its desire to accept the distribution.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVED AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2295 AND ACCEPT THE PROPOSED DISTRIBUTION OF $155,000.00 FROM THE GREATER YUMA PORT AUTHORITY.
