Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding approval of the Lighting and Retention Basin Assessment Districts Budget for the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year. (Carlos Cortes, Assistant Finance Director.)
SUMMARY:
These assessment districts were formed to provide street lighting and retention basin maintenance services in the developments. The County of Yuma requires City Council’s approval for the budget in order to levy the assessments. The amounts are based on estimated cost the City will incur to provide these services.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE STREET LIGHTING AND RETENTION BASIN ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS BUDGET FOR THE 2016-2017 FISCAL YEAR AS PRESENTED.
